Our wine list reflects The Cannery's commitment to tradition, as well as to what is fresh and local. Because of our West Coast inspired menu and setting, we offer an extensive selection of B.C., Pacific Northwest, and California wines. To honour our traditional side, we feature wines from classic regions in France and Italy. We focus on only a few select regions in order to have a extensive representation of their finest wines.
Within each region, there is a selection of wines from classic grape varieties and respected producers. From B.C., the list focuses on whites, particularly Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay. Only the top VQA, and boutique producers are featured. Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot from Washington State are all prominent, as is Pinot Noir from Oregon. From France, there are White Burgundies, aromatics from Alsace, and a deep selection of red Bordeaux. The emphasis in the Italian section is on the best producers of Tuscan red. Over several years we have built an extensive and exhaustive list of California Cabernet Sauvignon. We are proud to be able to offer verticals of some of the most rare and respected wines from California, Bordeaux, Tuscany and Washington State.
The qualified staff and management at the Cannery are pleased to help you with your wine selection, and answer any questions you may have.
